Al-Qaeda is feeling more confident now that they have won an important election in the U.S. so they can finally get back to their war on terror with their new friends in the white house at the helm. I'm sure they can't wait to get back to the days of 5 or more attacks a year on America like in the good ol' days of the Clinton administration.
They must be salivating at the thought of the Democrats back in the Presidency in 2008. Especially someone like, ah um... another Clinton.
AL-QAEDA CHIEF VOWS TO BLOW UP WHITE HOUSEAL-QAEDA'S leader in Iraq has vowed his fighters will not rest until they have blown up the White House.
In an audio tape on militant websites, Abu Hamza al-Muhajir claimed to be winning the war in Iraq and said President George Bush was "stupid".
He praised the Republican defeat in the US midterm elections as "reasonable" and claimed the al-Qaeda army has 12,000 fighters in Iraq, ready to die for their cause. The al- Qaeda leader told the US:
"We haven't had enough of your blood yet."
He added: "We will not rest until we have blown up the filthiest house - which is called the White House."
At least eight people were killed and 38 injured by a pair of car bombs in Baghdad yesterday.
A roadside bomb on Friday night also killed a Slovak and Polish soldier south of the capital.
Al-Qaeda gloats over demise of RumsfeldAL-QAEDA in Iraq yesterday claimed to be winning the war in Iraq and gloated over the resignation of US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.
Amid mounting speculation that the American ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton, would become the latest casualty following criticism over US policy in Iraq, al-Qaeda issued a statement clearly designed to take advantage of President George Bush's current plight.
Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, said: "The American people have put their feet on the right path by ... realising their president's betrayal in supporting Israel. So they voted for something reasonable in the last elections," he said.
He called on Mr Bush to remain "steadfast in the battlefield" so al-Qaeda would have more opportunities to fight his soldiers. "They are getting ready to leave, because they are no longer capable of staying. Remain steadfast in the battlefield you coward."
The US yesterday announced the deaths of three soldiers and one Marine in Iraq, bringing the number of US troops killed this month to 24.
New House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi must agree with this, as she and others in her party have made the same remarks again and again that we are losing this war in Iraq.
