The scumbag responsible for mugging two very old ladies in New York city, is finally caught. He probably won't get the punishment he truly deserves from our court system, but I just hope he gets enough time in prison to meet "Bubba" and get his just desserts.
Man arrested in mugging of woman, 101
Jack Rhodes, 44, was arrested on charges of robbery, grand larceny, burglary and assault, police said. They did not have an address for Rhodes, who was also accused of robbing an 85-year-old woman the same day Morat was attacked, police said.
Morat's March 4 holdup was captured on a surveillance tape. It shows Morat, who was using a walker, trying to leave her apartment building to go to church.
The mugger, who looms over her and is holding onto a bicycle, pretends to help her get through the vestibule. Then he turns to grab Morat's head, delivers three hard punches to her face and swipes her purse. The dazed victim tries to reach for her purse when the mugger hits her again, pushing her and her walker to the ground.
He got away with $33 and Morat's house keys. She suffered a fractured cheekbone and spent time in the hospital.
Morat told the AP on Friday that she's feeling better, though her doctor has told her to try to slow down.
She previously declared that if she'd been just a bit younger, she'd have gone after the guy.
Watch this asshole in action.
I'd be the first in line to pay his bail, just to get his ass outside the jail so I can show this f_ckin' piece of sh_t what happens to scumbags like him.
Jason Whitlock a columnist for the Kansas City Star is one of very few black people I've heard, that truly understands and speaks out about the real issues and problems of the black community and racism. And it's not Don Imus.
Racism is here to stay as long as African Americans continue giving racism and hatred, used amongst their own, an excuse or pass as "Artistic," while condemning others in avoidance of the real problem.
"Instead of wasting time on irrelevant shock jock, black leaders need to be fighting a growing gangster culture."
Thank you, Don Imus. You’ve given us (black people) an excuse to avoid our real problem.
You’ve given Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson another opportunity to pretend that the old fight, which is now the safe and lucrative fight, is still the most important fight in our push for true economic and social equality.
You’ve given Vivian Stringer and Rutgers the chance to hold a nationally televised recruiting celebration expertly disguised as a news conference to respond to your poor attempt at humor.
Thank you, Don Imus. You extended Black History Month to April, and we can once again wallow in victimhood, protest like it’s 1965 and delude ourselves into believing that fixing your hatred is more necessary than eradicating our self-hatred.
The bigots win again.
While we’re fixated on a bad joke cracked by an irrelevant, bad shock jock, I’m sure at least one of the marvelous young women on the Rutgers basketball team is somewhere snapping her fingers to the beat of 50 Cent’s or Snoop Dogg’s or Young Jeezy’s latest ode glorifying nappy-headed pimps and hos.
I ain’t saying Jesse, Al and Vivian are gold-diggas, but they don’t have the heart to mount a legitimate campaign against the real black-folk killas.
It is us. At this time, we are our own worst enemies. We have allowed our youths to buy into a culture (hip hop) that has been perverted, corrupted and overtaken by prison culture. The music, attitude and behavior expressed in this culture is anti-black, anti-education, demeaning, self-destructive, pro-drug dealing and violent.
Rather than confront this heinous enemy from within, we sit back and wait for someone like Imus to have a slip of the tongue and make the mistake of repeating the things we say about ourselves.
It’s embarrassing. Dave Chappelle was offered $50 million to make racially insensitive jokes about black and white people on TV. He was hailed as a genius. Black comedians routinely crack jokes about white and black people, and we all laugh out loud.
I’m no Don Imus apologist. He and his tiny companion Mike Lupica blasted me after I fell out with ESPN. Imus is a hack.
But, in my view, he didn’t do anything outside the norm for shock jocks and comedians. He also offered an apology. That should’ve been the end of this whole affair. Instead, it’s only the beginning. It’s an opportunity for Stringer, Jackson and Sharpton to step on victim platforms and elevate themselves and their agenda$.
We the taxpayers of New Jersey are sick and tired of being ripped off by the politicians in Trenton and it's about time we stand up and do something about it.
The U.S. Attorney, Chris Christie has started the clean up process with his recent indictment of Senator (Wayne) Bryant on mail fraud, wire fraud and bribery charges for taking salaries from UMDNJ, Rutgers University-Camden and the Gloucester County Board of Social Services.
Determined to facilitate the process with the cleanup of the cesspool in Trenton are a couple of local radio personalities from 101.5 FM, "The Jersey Guys." They have put together this program that will allow New Jersey residents the opportunity to help rid the state of the ingrained corruption machine that has been steaming along through the State House, seemingly unchecked for decades.
Coalition Against Corrupt Politicians (CACP)
New Jersey – The “Coalition Against Corrupt Politicians” will unveil an information program for the people of New Jersey to report politicians taking part in despicable acts such as bribery, fraud, pension padding, nepotism, cronyism and other mischievous acts.
The Jersey Guys from New Jersey 101.5 are already receiving support in their efforts. The coalition was formed after reports of investigations by U.S. Attorney, Chris Christie who said, “We always have an open door for people who want to come in and provide us with further information. That’s the way we build cases.”
In an interview with New Jersey 101.5, Rider University Political Science Professor, Dave Rebovich pointed out, “Veteran Legislators know what once passed for harmless quid pro quo, doing this for that, making a deal with another Legislator . . . all of a sudden now may be the subject of an investigation. The change in attitude at the State House is palpable.” He continues by saying, “The swagger in the Legislature is gone. The bravado is gone.”
All information provided will remain anonymous to protect the privacy of individuals. The Jersey Guys will use this information to conduct investigations and share this information with proper authorities. Acting on the information provided by their listeners, they intend to use New Jersey’s Open Public Records Act to the fullest extent possible to ferret out the waste, fraud and abuse that has plagued the State Government for far too long.
So come on New Jersey, step up to the plate and help.
If you know something... share it!

North Carolina State Attorney General Roy Cooper said yesterday in a news conference, that he was going to dismiss all remaining sexual assault and kidnapping charges against the three Duke University lacrosse players, stating they were "innocent of these charges" and then went on and accused Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong of "overreaching."
David Evans, 24, of Bethesda, Md.; Collin Finnerty, 20, of Garden City, N.Y.; and Reade Seligmann, 21, of Essex Fells, N.J. will have all charges against them dropped, even though Crystal Gail Mangum, the Nappy Headed Ho, stripper and escort who accused them of rape and kidnapping, insist she was assaulted.
"No DNA confirms the accuser's story, No other witness confirms her story. Other evidence contradicts her story. She contradicts herself." said Roy Cooper.
Mangum will not face any charges for her false accusations.
