Flemming Rose the culture editor of the Jyllands-Posten claims that publishing the caricatures of the Prophet Muhammed was an act of "inclusion, not exclusion."
He says, "Muslims should be treated just like all Europeans."
Flemming RoseThe worldwide furor unleashed by the cartoons of the Prophet Muhammed that I published last September in Jyllands-Posten, the Danish newspaper where I work, was both a surprise and a tragedy, especially for those directly affected by it. Lives were lost, buildings were torched and people were driven into hiding.
And yet the unbalanced reactions to the not-so-provocative caricatures -- loud denunciations and even death threats toward us, but very little outrage toward the people who attacked two Danish Embassies -- unmasked unpleasant realities about Europe's failed experiment with multiculturalism. It's time for the Old Continent to face facts and make some profound changes in its outlook on immigration, integration and the coming Muslim demographic surge. After decades of appeasement and political correctness, combined with growing fear of a radical minority prepared to commit serious violence, Europe's moment of truth is here. Does this nut ball really get the seriousness of what's at stake here? He appears to be playing games. Or is he?
Some believe this is a declaration of war. A call to Islam must precede any act of war according to the words of Muhammad.
In this new conference he responds to a question about the possibility of a military attack on Iran by the US. He said that "A psychological war is quite likely," then expressed his doubt about the military option.
Iranian President says his letter to President Bush was invitation to IslamIranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Thursday that his letter to President George W. Bush did not concern the nuclear dossier, but rather was an invitation to Islam and the prophets culture.
Stressing that the letter was beyond the nuclear issue, the chief executive said that in principle, the country's nuclear case is not so significant to make him write a letter about it.
The president said that the letter actually contained a clear message of invitation to human beliefs, adding that its response will determine the future. Read Full
Iran's Thug-In-Chief: my letter to Bush was invitation to Islam Both bolded statements suggest that the letter was indeed the call to Islam that must precede any attack, in accord with Muhammad's words (in Sahih Muslim 4294) about inviting the unbelievers to accept Islam or dhimmitude and fighting him only if he refuses both. We shall see.
Ahmadinejad: letter was an invitation to convert to Islam. Wholly perfunctory, says Robert Spencer. Just getting his theological ducks in a row before he gets down to business. Not unlike Tom Hagen asking that producer to give Johnny Fontane the part before putting the horse’s head in his bed.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a prominent and often controversial author, film maker and critic of Islam who must maintain a very high level of security due to threats against her life from Islamic extremist for voicing views that challenge Islam has just finished a speaking engagement at Harvard University.
And of course the Muslim society of students were not so thrilled with her opinions.
A Michelle Malkin reader who was at the presentation says this. One telling moment came when an early questioner asked about the overall issue of assimilation versus cultural isolation in Europe. Hirsi Ali answered that she did not think in terms of assimilation and isolation but rather in terms of individualism and collectivism. The collectivist says that those people in this neighborhood all believe that a woman who is bad should be beaten by her husband. And those people are a valid collective.
Hirsi Ali contends that the collective ethos of any group is fine, but it ends when individual rights are violated. And she said in as many words that she is firmly in the camp of the indivualists.

Atwar Bahjat Beheading Video a Hoax
Just for the sake of clarity, Bahjat was murdered in a cruel way. The fact that this video is a hoax should not distract us from that fact. Whoever murdered her deserves the severist punishment available. [And by 'hoax' I do not mean to imply the video is fake, only its attribution. For some reason some Islamist scumbag thought it would be funny/scary/useful to send out an old video and label it 'Bahjat'.]

Libyan Leader Mu'ammar Al-Qadhafi states in a video aired on Al-Jazeera TV on April 10, 2006 and released by MEMRI TV, that Europe and the United States should agree to become Islamic or declare war on the Muslims. Well, maybe he's right! Because it appears we are already on our way to a war with Muslims.
Libyan Leader Mu'ammar Al-Qadhafi: Some people believe that Muhammad is the prophet of the Arabs or Muslims alone. This is a mistake. Muhammad is the Prophet of all people. He superseded all previous religions. If Jesus were alive when Muhammad was sent, he would have followed him. All people must be Muslims.
The Muslims were enraged by the defamation of their Prophet. But the people who defamed Muhammad were defaming their own prophet, because Muhammad is the prophet of the people in Scandinavia, in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. But since the holy texts that they read in Scandinavia are forged and call for hatred, they believe Muhammad is not their prophet.
We expect to see a picture of Jesus with nuclear bombs over his head, because the nuclear bomb was developed by the followers of Jesus.
The so-called Old Testament and New Testament are neither Old Testament nor New Testament - because both testaments were superseded, and they are forged. They were written by hand hundreds of years after Jesus.
In the Bible there are things that are inappropriate for both Jesus and Moses. If we want to mend the state of humanity, and live in a global village, because of the globalization, we must search for the true Bible, because the Bible that exists today is a forgery. Today's Bible does not mention Muhammad, whereas our Lord's Bible mentions Muhammad repeatedly.
We must search for the Gospel of Barnabas, of St. Barnabas, because this is the true gospel. This gospel explicitly mentions that Muhammad would come after Jesus.
Today, we are correcting human history from here, in Timbuktu.
If the American president comes to make a pilgrimage, they will say to him: You are impure, a polytheist. But he will reply: I am not a polytheist. Nor am I impure. How can you make such serious allegations against me? If I am impure, how come you shake my hand and break bread with me?
He will pull out the one dollar bill that we use, and he will say: Go ahead, read what's written on it.
