The time is NOW! I can't take it anymore.
Bush just doesn't get the immigration issue. 48 hours after reading about how we are
spying on our own to help illegal immigrants enter our country, I have to conclude that our leadership thinks more about Mexico and their issues then it does about it's own citizens.
Bush
approval rating hits new low.
President Bush's approval rating has slumped to 31% in a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll, the lowest of his presidency and a warning sign for Republicans in the November elections.
The survey of 1,013 adults, taken Friday through Sunday, shows Bush's standing down by 3 percentage points in a single week. His disapproval rating also reached a record: 65%. The margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points.
"It is a challenging political environment," acknowledges Tracey Schmitt, a spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee, "but we are confident that ultimately voters in November will recognize that a Democrat Congress would simply not be equipped to ensure either economic or national security for our nation."
Tracey Schmitt and the Republicans can make this statement because they know we, (the American Republican voter) does not have a good choice. Those of us, like myself, who can't find a good reason at all lately to vote for our party, would never vote for a Democrat under their current leadership and ridiculous ideology.
Now is the time for a new party. They have my vote already.
MM has more on this with:
THE BORDER PATROL UNDER SIEGEI remind you of the jaw-dropping directive issued in August 2003 by then-San Diego Border Patrol Chief William Veal directing local Border Patrol agents to ignore suspected illegal aliens on city streets and at worksites in San Diego. The order was made in response to--you guessed it--complaints by the Mexican Consulate over Border Patrol arrests of illegal aliens seeking to obtain Mexican identification cards. Deputy Consul General Javier Diaz met with Veal to protest the arrests, while Mexican Consul General Rodulfo Figueroa issued a statement saying he was "astonished by the arrests because of their proximity to his office." The Bush Treasury Department, ignoring the warnings of seasoned immigration enforcement officers and FBI agents concerned about matricula consular card fraud, approved the use of these illegal alien documents for opening bank accounts--at the behest of, you guessed it, Mexican consular officials and business lobbyists.
So where does this leave us?
- We can "not vote at all."
- Hope for a third party to come up.
- We can "not vote at all."
No matter what, the Dems couldn't lose this next election if they had Dean & Osama bin Laden on their ticket. It's ridiculous and pathetic.
